Marketing Manager

Job description

As Marketing Manager, you will own the marketing strategy and execution for Technology Partners. You will lead activity that drives brand awareness, lead generation, customer retention, and thought leadership in the IT/software solutions space. You will be responsible for both strategic planning and hands-on execution across digital, content, partner and event marketing.

You’ll work closely with the sales, support and professional services teams to align messaging, campaigns and the customer journey. You’ll also oversee budgeting, metrics and continuous improvement.

  • Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in B2B marketing, preferably in technology/IT/software industry (ERP, CRM, cloud or related).
  • Proven track record of delivering demand-generation campaigns and measuring impact.
  • Strong digital marketing skills: website, SEO/SEM, social, email, marketing automation tools and analytics.
  • Excellent content creation skills: writing white papers, case studies, blog posts, presentations, etc.
  • Strategic thinker and hands-on executor with strong project-management skills and ability to drive multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience working cross functionally with sales, product and partner teams.
  • Budget management experience and comfortable reporting on metrics and ROI.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with initiative, and adapt in a growth oriented environment
  • Experience in channel/partner marketing (especially with Sage, Microsoft or similar ecosystem).
  • Experience working in professional services or software-vendor/implementation environment.
  • Familiarity with UK mid-market B2B sales cycles and buying personas.
  • Marketing automation tool experience.
  • Event marketing and webinar production proficiency.
